Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your College account by requiring a second verification step beyond your password. This guide walks you through setting up a YubiKey as an MFA method.
You'll need a YubiKey device in one of the following formats:
Step-by-Step Setup Instructions
- Visit: https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info.
- Sign in using your TSC credentials.
- Select Add sign-in method.
- Select Security key.
- To identify your security key type, select USB device.
- Insert your YubiKey into a USB port on your computer and click Next.
- Create a PIN for your YubiKey and click OK.
- When prompted, touch the Y button on your YubiKey.
- Enter a name for your YubiKey and click Next.
- Click Done.
- After setup, call TSC’s IT Help Desk at (850) 201-8545 to ensure that you will be able to continue to sign in without setting up an additional authentication method.
