How to Reset Your Multi-Factor Authentication

You’ll need to reset your MFA if:

  • You have a new device
  • You deleted the Authenticator app
  • You removed your account from the app
  • You changed your phone number and previously used text/call for MFA

To reset your MFA:

  1. Visit the TSC IT website
  2. Click the Virtual Agent in the bottom-right corner of the page.
  3. Select Multi-Factor Authentication Reset.
  4. Follow the prompts until you see confirmation that your authentication methods have been reset.

After resetting your MFA, you'll need to set up your MFA again:

  • You’ll be prompted to set up MFA when signing in.
  • The Microsoft Authenticator App is more secure than text/call-based verification.
  • Do not sign into the app using your TSC credentials.
  • For help, see: How to Set Up the Microsoft Authenticator App

After Setting up MFA:

  1. Log into TSC’s Workday site
  2. Go to your contact information.
  3. Verify everything is correct and up-to-date.
