Using Honorlock in Canvas at TSC

To use Honorlock for your course in Canvas, you’ll need to install the Honorlock Chrome Extension.

Install the Honorlock Chrome Extension

Download the Honorlock extension for Chrome at honorlock.com/install.

Important Tips

  • Use only the Chrome browser on a Windows, Mac, or Chromebook device.
  • Mobile devices (phones, tablets, iPads) are not supported.
  • Disable or remove any other Chrome extensions—they may interfere with Honorlock.
  • Always log in directly at tscfl.instructure.com. Avoid using bookmarks or autofill links, which can cause errors.

If you’ve installed the extension and still experience issues, try the following:

  1. Update Chrome to the latest version.
  2. Clear Cache and Cookies. After clearing, quit Chrome completely, and relaunch.
  3. In Chrome, navigate to: chrome://settings/content/camera and set acces to Sites can ask to use your camera. Afterward, quit Chrome completely and relaunch.
