How do I apply for admission to TSC?

In order to attend our college all new, incoming students must complete the following steps: 

Step 1: Submit Your Application

Apply online here:
🔗 tsc.fl.edu/admissions/apply

After submitting your application, you’ll receive an email with your:

  • TSC Student ID

  • TSC email address

  • Password

📌 Keep this info! You’ll need it to log in to Workday Student and your TSC Outlook email.

Next, log in to Workday Student to:

  • Check for any holds or action items needed to complete your admission

  • Note for Transient Students:
    If you applied through FloridaShines, call the IT Help Desk at (850) 201-8545 to get your TSC username and password.

Step 2: Submit Florida Residency Documents

To receive in-state tuition, submit proof that you (or your parent/guardian) have lived in Florida for at least 12 months before the first day classes begin.
📄 Examples: Driver’s license, vehicle registration, or voter ID

📤 Upload your documents to the DocuSign Residency Form, submit them in person, or email them to:

Step 3: Apply for Financial Aid

Complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid):

Step 4: Send Your High School Transcript or GED

Request your official high school transcript or GED test scores be sent to TSC.
This helps with admission and course placement for your first semester.


Step 5: Send College/University Transcripts (If Applicable)

If you’ve taken courses at another college or university, request that official transcripts be sent to TSC.


Step 6: Check Placement Testing Requirements

Some students may need to take a placement test. Review testing requirements and resources:

Step 7: Explore Workday Student

Get familiar with Workday Student, your all-in-one student portal to:

  • Register for classes

  • Pay tuition and fees

  • View your schedule, records, financial aid, and more

Step 8: Review Important Dates

Check the Academic Calendar for deadlines like:

  • First Day of Class

  • Last Day to Add/Drop Classes

  • Fee Payment Due Date

Step 9: Pay Tuition & Fees

Make sure to pay your tuition by the fee payment due date listed on your schedule or the academic calendar.

🔹 Digital Student ID (Most Students):

  1. Go to: tsc.fl.edu/CloudCard

  2. Upload a:

    • Photo of yourself

    • Photo of your government-issued ID

  3. Access your ID through the MyTSC app

🔹 Plastic Student ID (Special Programs Only):

  • Visit Campus Police (2nd Floor, Center Building)

  • Bring a government-issued ID

  • Available to:

    • Students in health programs

    • Honors students

    • Students using StarMetro bus services

🆓 Your first ID is free and available the week before classes start, if you’ve paid or have financial aid covering tuition.

Step 11: Get Your Books & Supplies

Visit the TSC Bookstore to get everything you need for your courses.

Step 12: Start Strong! Attend Class & Get Involved

Make the most of your time at TSC by joining:

  • 📣 Student Government Association (SGA)

  • ⚽ Campus Recreation

  • 🎓 Clubs and Organizations
