What does cost of attendance mean?

Body

The cost of attendance (COA) is a college’s projection of what expenses a student might incur for an academic year (fall, spring and summer).  These costs may include tuition, room and board, books/supplies, transportation, personal and loan fees (if applicable).

The COA is used to calculate your eligibility for need-based aid, such as grants and work-study.

Cost of Attendance is not the amount you will have to pay and is often just a guide for you to be able to calculate what your costs might be so you are able to budget accordingly.

The Cost of Attendance page provides a breakdown of the total estimated costs to attend TSC.
