How to do a Conference Transfer using Avaya IX Workplace for iOS and Android

Abstract:

This article explains how to perform a conference transfer in Avaya IX Workplace on iOS and Android. A conference transfer allows you to speak with the person you want to transfer a caller to before completing the transfer.

Instructions:

1. While on a Call:
   Tap the three dots at the bottom of the screen.

2. Add Someone to the Call:
   Tap the Add Someone to Call button.

3. Enter a Number:
   Tap Enter a number.

4. Dial the Number:
   Enter the number and tap the phone button.

5. Merge Calls into a Conference:
   Once the additional person answers and you are ready to complete the conference transfer, tap the Complete Addition button to connect everyone.

If the Additional Person Does Not Answer or You Want to Cancel:

A. Tap the End Call button.
B. Tap Resume to return to the original call.

6. Complete the Conference Transfer:
   To allow the other two callers to remain on the call, tap the End Call button.
