Rave Guardian Setup Overview

Abstract:

This article explains how to download and configure the Rave Guardian mobile app for the first time. Rave Guardian is a free personal safety service available to TSC students, faculty, and staff with a valid TSC email account. The app enhances campus safety through real-time interactive features that connect users with friends, family, and the TSC Police Department (TSCPD).

Download the App

  • Click the link to download the app for your device:
    • Android: Google Play Store
    • iOS: Apple App Store

Installation and Setup

  1. Download the App:
    Install the app on your mobile device.

  2. Enter Mobile Number:

    • Select your country
    • Enter your mobile number
    • Tap Continue

  3. Verify Phone Number:

    • Enter the verification code
    • Check the box to create an account
    • Tap Continue
    • If you did not receive the code, tap Resend Code

  4. Confirm Identity:
    On the Is this you? screen, tap Yes.

  5. Enable Instant Updates:
    Tap Yes.

  6. Allow Notifications:
    On the Ok, we get it screen, tap Allow.

  7. Stay Informed:
    On the Stay in the Know Wherever You Are screen, tap Yes.

  8. Allow Location Access:
    On the Allow "Guardian" to access your location screen, tap Always Allow.

  9. Complete Setup:
    On the Welcome to Guardian! screen, tap Ok, got it.

  10. Explore Features:
    You will see the main Rave Guardian screen. Tap any of the icons to explore and use the app’s features.
