A registration hold is a block that has been placed on a student’s account due to missing documents/forms or an action that needs to take place (examples: creating a digital id or meeting with an academic advisor).
It prevents the student from completing registration until the issue is resolved with the appropriate department.
The departments that place registration holds on a student’s record include: Admissions and Records, Campus Police, Cashier, Financial Aid, International Student Services, the Library, Student Conduct, Advising and Retention, and the Registrar.
