How do I schedule an appointment with my assigned advisor?

Academic Advisor Appointment Information

Office Hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Appointments are scheduled through students' Workday accounts and are available on a rolling two-week schedule. If an advisor doesn’t have availability, check back daily for updates.

Location:
The Advising Center is located on the second floor of the Student Union and inside the Student Success Center.


Steps to Schedule an Appointment with Your Assigned Academic Advisor:

  1. Log in to Workday at www.tsc.fl.edu/workday.

  2. From the top left of your dashboard, click the menu and select TSC Academics & Advising Hub.

  3. Under Suggested Links, click TSC Advisor Connection.

  4. Select View My Support Network to view your Advisor's name.

  5. Select Advisor Appointment to request an appointment.

  6. Choose Appointment Services.

  7. Complete the Student Appointment Request (ensure all fields marked with * are filled out):

    • Appointment reason
    • Meeting type (In-person or Online via Zoom). Zoom links will be available on the day of your appointment. Check your confirmed appointment list.
    • Available appointment dates
    • Comments (optional) to provide additional information about your needs.
  8. Click OK, and a dropdown for Available Appointment Times will appear.

  9. Review the available times, then make a selection and click OK.

Confirmation:
You will receive a text and email to your TSC Outlook account confirming or declining the appointment.


To View Scheduled Appointment(s):

  • Return to the TSC Advisor Connection link.
  • Select Advisor Appointment.
  • Review My Appointment History to see your upcoming appointments and their status.
  • Click on the Appt. Period - Service to see specific appointment details.  If a Zoom appointment is requested, then the Zoom link will be posted here on the day of the appointment.  
    Be sure to add these appointments to your personal calendar.

To Cancel a Scheduled Appointment:

  1. Click the Cancel button in the Action Column.
  2. When the Cancel Advisor Appointment window appears, enter the reason for cancellation and click OK.
  3. If you wish to reschedule, go through the scheduling process above.
