Dropping and Withdrawing from Classes
At TSC, you have the option to drop a class within the first 5 days of the session without academic penalties. However, it’s important to note that financial aid may be affected depending on the number of credit hours you have after the drop.
Important Dates:
- Drop Period: You can drop a class during the first 5 days of the session without any academic penalties. If you drop during this time, tuition may be refunded, provided you do not have financial aid. If you do have financial aid, a refund will be processed for the tuition you paid.
- Add Classes: You may add classes to your schedule within the first 2 days of the session.
To confirm the last day to drop a class with a 100% refund, check our Important Dates and Deadlines Academic Calendar here.
Withdrawals:
A withdrawal occurs when you remove a class from your schedule after the drop period. No refund will be issued, and you will receive a W grade on your transcript.
Note: It’s highly recommended that you consult with an advisor before withdrawing from a class.
If you have any questions or need assistance, contact an academic advisor.
