How to Install Zoom on a Mac Computer

  1. Go to the Zoom Download Center website.
  2. Find the "Zoom Client for Meetings" section under macOS and click "Download."
  3. Open the file you just downloaded. You can usually find it in your Downloads folder.
  4. When the installer starts, click "Continue."
  5. Choose where you want to install Zoom:
  6. To install Zoom for everyone who uses this computer, select "Install for all users." You might need to enter your computer’s administrator password.
  7. To install Zoom just for yourself, select "Install only for me."
  8. Click "Continue."
  9. If you want to pick a different installation location, click "Change Install Location." (Optional)
  10. Click "Install."
  11. If you chose to install for all users, enter the administrator credentials when prompted. (Optional)
  12. Click "Install Software."
  13. After the installation finishes, click "Close."
