A Conference Transfer allows you to talk to the person you want to transfer a caller to before the transfer is made. Follow these steps to do a conference transfer using Avaya IX Workplace for Windows 10 and macOS.
1. While on a call, click the three dots at the bottom of the window.
2. Click Add Someone to Call.
4. Enter the number and click Add to Call.
5. Once the additional person answers the call and you are ready to complete the conference transfer, you will need to merge the calls into a conference. Click Merge to connect everyone.
Note: If the additional person does not answer or to cancel the transfer and return to the original call:
A. Click Cancel.
B. Click the End Call button.
C. Then click the Pause button to return to the original call.
6. To complete the Conference Transfer and allow the other two callers to remain on the call, click the end call button.
