Getting Started with Avaya IX Workplace on macOS

Abstract:

This article explains how to install and configure the Avaya IX Workplace application on a macOS device. The app allows you to use your TSC phone services on your computer.


Instructions:

Install the Application

  1. Get the macOS App:
    Download the Avaya IX Workplace application for macOS.

  2. Open the Installation File:
    Navigate to the installation file and double-click to open.

  3. Click Install:
    Begin the installation process.

  4. Click Open:
    Confirm to open the installer.

  5. Click Continue:
    Proceed with the installation.

  6. Click Continue Again:
    Continue to the next step.

  7. Select Language and Review License:
    Choose your preferred language, read the license agreement, and click Continue.

  8. Agree to License Terms:
    Click Agree to accept the license agreement.

  9. Click Install:
    Start the installation.

  10. Enter Credentials if Prompted:
    Provide your macOS username and password when requested.

  11. Complete Installation:
    Once the installation is complete, click Close.


Configure the Application

  1. Click Configure My Account:
    Open the app and select Configure my account.

  2. Enter Your Email Address:
    Provide your TSC email address.

  3. Enter Credentials:
    Enter your TSC email address and password.

  4. Complete the Quick Tutorial:
    Follow the on-screen tutorial to finish setup.
